In short
- No cookies are set for site visitors. Only the admin login page uses WordPress’s technical cookies.
- No advertising, no sale of data. No third-party service is loaded when pages are displayed (fonts are hosted on the site): Google’s calendar only loads if you click “Book a call”.
- Audience measurement only keeps counters, with no IP address or identifier.
- Your data is only used to answer your request.
Storage in your browser
Two pieces of information may be kept in your browser, and are never sent to the site:
- Light or dark mode choice (local storage, key “dkh-theme”): only if you use the toggle; kept until you clear your browsing data.
- Demo orders (session storage): deleted when you close the tab or with the “Reset” button.
Audience measurement
Each page view increments a counter per day, per page and per referring site (for example a search engine). No IP address, no identifier, no cookie: it is impossible to follow a person from one page to another. Counters are kept for 13 months. People logged in to the admin are not counted.
To filter out bots, a fingerprint of the IP address (not the address itself) limits the number of pages counted; it is deleted after one hour. This measurement is designed to meet the conditions set by the CNIL (the French data protection authority) for audience measurement exempt from consent.
Technical data
Like any web server, the host records the IP address, date and requested page in its logs, for security and for the site to work properly. The site is hosted in the European Union by Hostinger International Limited (Cyprus), which keeps these logs for a limited period under its own policy (legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure).
After a failed login to the site’s admin, a fingerprint of the IP address (not the address itself) is kept for 15 minutes to limit repeated attempts.
Free call (booking)
The “Book a call” buttons open the Google Calendar booking page in a window on the site: it is only loaded at that moment, and Google may then receive technical data (IP address, browser) and use its own cookies. The information you enter (name, email address, any answers) is collected by Google and passed on to me to organise and prepare the call, which takes place on Google Meet. It is subject to Google’s privacy policy.
The “Message me on WhatsApp” link opens the WhatsApp app, published by Meta; your conversations there are subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy. The site sends no data to WhatsApp.
Express diagnosis form
- Data: name, email address, company (optional), country and description of your situation.
- Purpose: to answer your request and prepare a possible conversation.
- How it works: your request is sent to me by email; nothing is saved in the site’s database. You receive an acknowledgement email, which does not repeat the text of your request.
- Artificial intelligence: only the description of your situation and your country are sent to an AI service, which prepares a draft reply that I always review before answering you. Your name, email address and company are never sent to it, and I keep nothing there.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Retention: in my mailbox, for at most 3 years after our last exchange if no project goes ahead; if we work together, for the duration of the relationship and then the legal periods (10 years for accounting records).
- Abuse protection: a fingerprint of the IP address limits the number of requests; it is deleted after 24 hours at most.
“From order to dashboard” demo
The message you paste into the demo is sent to an AI service to be turned into an order, then displayed in your browser. Nothing is saved on the site. Use made-up data: do not paste real personal information. A fingerprint of the IP address limits the number of attempts; it is deleted after one hour.
Recipients
Your data is read by me only. It goes through technical providers, each for its own role: the site’s host, my email service, the AI service (description of the situation only), Google (booking and video call) and WhatsApp if you use it. It is never sold or transferred.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights: hello@dkhennys.com; I reply within one month at most. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
