About
My name is Khenny Demby. I connect the tools businesses rely on, and I stay until the teams use them.

Where I come from
Studies
Université Lumière Lyon 2
It all started at Université Lumière Lyon 2, between economics, business intelligence and information systems.
The turning point
Civic service at the Mission Locale
Then came a failure at university. I joined the Mission Locale of Bron-Décines-Meyzieu on a civic service placement, running digital workshops for young people facing difficulties and helping them look for work. That is where my work started to mean something, and where I found the wish to pass things on.
The trade
IT Akademy, then Visiativ
That placement put me back on track: full-stack developer training at IT Akademy, as a work-study student at Visiativ. That is where I learnt my trade as an integrator. Building websites and keeping them alive, making them faster and easier to find, developing custom integrations, and helping internal teams get comfortable with WordPress.
Hard times
What the difficult years taught me
My path has been anything but a straight line. I went through difficult periods, administrative as well as health-related, and times when nothing seemed to move forward. It taught me a rule I also apply to projects: move forward in small steps that can be checked, and never leave anything pending without writing it down. That is what makes it possible to pick things up again after a pause, and it is what I give my clients: tools and documentation that hold up even when I am not there to explain them.
That is why it matters so much to me that my clients’ projects succeed, and above all that they last.
Today
Freelancing between France and Ghana
Since 2022 I have been a full-time freelancer, between France and Ghana. I work remotely with small businesses, SMEs, mid-sized companies, non-profits and entrepreneurs, in Europe and in Africa, in French or English.
I choose my projects with care. What makes me say yes is an ambitious project, useful to the people it reaches, and a client who shares my human values. That is where I give my best, and that is what makes projects last.
And if a small team is looking for someone like me, I’m open to joining it.

Frequently asked questions
How I work
A successful tool is one the team still uses six months later. My method is built for that.
How does a project start?
By understanding before building. I look at how information flows today: who enters what, where, and how many times. Together we find what costs you the most time.
Do I need to change my tools?
Not necessarily. I start from the tools you already have, and only suggest changing them when it is necessary.
How does the project move forward?
In stages. Each stage delivers something usable, which you test before the next one. You see the project progress, and we correct course early.
Are my website or my data at risk during the work?
No: everything is built and checked on a working copy, never directly on your live website or data.
What happens after go-live?
I train your team, write documentation for your context, and plan a follow-up period after go-live to clear the real blockers.
Do you use artificial intelligence?
Yes, as an assistant that helps me develop faster and, when it helps, inside the tools I deliver (for example to read an order written any old way). But it decides nothing: every result that matters is reviewed and checked by a person.
